Hi, I'm Sami Pitts
I'm the heart behind Grace After Grit. The name comes from something I've actually lived — you push through the hard stuff (the grit), and you come out the other side with more grace, creativity, and purpose than you started with.
I opened this business in September 2025, after losing my dad. Losing him made one thing clear: life is too short to keep waiting on your dreams. It was time to do meaningful work, build something of my own, and show up fully for the people I get to serve.
My journey started at 19 as a correctional officer. I worked my way up to lieutenant — learning discipline, real leadership, and how to stay steady when everything around you is chaos. Eventually I "retired" to start a family, and that chapter shaped me more than anything else ever could. 2025 taught me so much, and I'm so ready for what's next.
Today I build websites, create brands, and help small businesses show up online in a way that actually feels like them. I partner with Up Top Studio to bring big-picture thinking and real creative muscle to everything we do together.
Outside of work I'm a wife and mom of two under two — yes, it's as wild as it sounds and I love every second of it. You'll find me at the beach, traveling whenever I can, and spending time with people I love. I have a small obsession with standard poodles and a lifelong love affair with the Goo Goo Dolls. Creating something meaningful is just how I'm wired — and I'm so glad you're here.
